In the harried pace of modern living, sometimes one needs to just put up one's mental feet and pause, meditate on life, the universe, or the antics of squirrels and visit with friends, far flung or near to home and perhaps whisper to God.

Home new update
The roof and windows were completed just prior to the storms and tornado warnings on Friday and Saturday. The house was nice and dry upon inspection after the very wet weather with only one spot damp in the basement and that spot was drier after the second bout of rains.
Darlene by avocaton a poet, by vocation a pediatric physician. Married with a college age son. Participate in Utmost Christian Writers Forum. Also just started getting reacquanited with the sewing machine. Husband Mike is trained in rehabilitation couseling likes to swim and cycle, cook,continue studies in counseling and Christianity.
