I feed the sparrows of my heartcrumbs of early spring sunlight,
and seeds of fresh air
scattered by a southwest wind.
I peck at tiny star-flowers
struggling in the dry brown grass
to announce a change of season.
Winter passes...
The barrenness of life recedes,
a gathering of elements buds:
love, hope, warmth, rain---
the flowering of resurrection.

Oh yes! It was such here today, after the rain stopped - although even the rain was springish. :)
